Counting

Since he was born, we've been trying to teach Eddie the best traditions of counting in Blackadder.
"Eddie, I have one peach and one peach. How many peaches have I got?"
"Some peaches"

Sadly that hasn't quite worked. Eddie has now actually started counting - sort of - having apparently been taught by nursery.

Right now he can spot "one" and responds by putting two fingers pointing out of the top of his nose and saying "two".

Holding up a hand in front of him with any number of fingers up results in Eddie insistently saying "faaaiiive" and unpeeling your fingers until you have five fingers held up. At which point you are expected to give him a high-five.

Oh, and on another point, the latest parents' evening at nursery declared that Eddie's main area of skill was "creative". When pressed on the matter, the nursery staff revealed that actually this just meant he was messy. Sounds more realistic.
